Beyond Graceland

The Long Take Film Club is back with a second screening this August — because some months just need two.

On 26 August we're screening Beyond Graceland, Mpumi "Supa" Mbele's film that most Joburg audiences never got the chance to see on a big screen. Producer Carolyn Carew joins us afterwards for a Q&A in The Bioscope's courtyard — pizza, beers, and the usual chance to actually talk about what you just watched, rather than just scrolling past it.

This is what The Long Take is for: giving South African films the room and conversation they deserved the first time round, with the people who made them.
